Sleek & Beautiful

The projects of 2023 will continue into 2024 !

The projects of 2023 will continue into 2024 !

A look back at some of our research projects …

RESEARCH 1: MINERAL PAPER AND ITS TRANSFORMATION

  • Reduction of paper into different grades using textile shredders and robots:

                                                                                           Mineral paper, before final shredding…

the quest for ever finer reduction

  • Experimentation/manufacture of jellyfish made from biomaterials and mineral paper:

RESEARCH 2: MINERAL PAPER AND 3D CREATIONS

  • Weaving mineral paper: another possible option!

Design work requires a great deal of experimentation and reflection before any result can be achieved.

The results will be tested, validated or invalidated as the project progresses.

I wanted to test the use of mineral paper in weaving mode while using computer tools for the construction diagrams.

Starting to assemble and make a tropical scorpion fish in 3D.

After 70 hours of hard work making this scorpion fish, I unfortunately had to put it aside for lack of time and funding for the project!

The assemblies in progress are stored in a corner of my workshop and I hope to be able to continue this work soon under better conditions!

These are also the ups and downs of the creative process, as it’s very difficult to get everything done at once without losing a few things along the way!

RESEARCH 3: MINERAL PAPER FACEPLATES, AN ALTERNATIVE TO SINGLE USE !

In order to meet the need for breastplates, which are currently provided with disposable products after the 1st use, I created prototypes of breastplates that are aesthetic, ergonomic, washable several times and customisable!

2023 OUTLOOK :

As you’ll have gathered, the past year has been a busy one, and it also marks a turning point in my work.

Because, in addition to the work presented above, I’ve introduced a new way of marketing my work via leasing/acquisition.

I’ll tell you all about it in a forthcoming publication and wish you all the best for the New Year!

HAPPY NEW YEAR 2024
