On the evening of Monday May 22, elected officials, project sponsors and us, the occupants, had the pleasure of showing visitors around our new premises.
It was a time for encounters orchestrated by Ma Friche Urbaine, the company behind the project and manager of the premises.
An evening open to all, organized around a buffet, a crêpe stand and cultural activities for children, and a film screening followed by a debate.
A time to reminisce about this place and discuss future changes…

Artists of the collective “les ateliers font le printemps” have decided to organize its doors once a year.
For the past 3 years, a growing number of artists have been organizing to open their workshops, invite colleagues without a space and present their work.
An annual opportunity to push the door of a space of creativity, full of surprises!
A good time to ask questions and feed on shared experiences.
This will be my opportunity to introduce you to this new workspace and explain my different painting techniques :
The neighbouring artists, from the third hill collective, will also be waiting for you in the building opposite mine and I will welcome Fabrice LEITO in the third place space.

Arriving in Lyon summer 2019, I quickly found a place to work in the Duchère district.
Installation for 5 years :
The owner of the place, LMH, plans all this time to organize the rehabilitation works of the whole neighborhood. It is true that space is important.
This makes me happy, because, it must be recognized that emptying a painter’s workshop is not very funny: I have trouble throwing out some things “that could be used” and then, there is all the “small” material.
Small but takes up space in the end!
So, hop, hop, hop, for 5 years, I remake the boxes, the decoration of the room, the hanging of the paintings …
My personal space of 40 m2 with a water point (crucial element for an artist) always has a clear view of Fourvière and the Alps, in fine weather.
I will also be accompanied by new colleagues who rent offices for neighborhood associations, a ceramist and sharing a third party
venue for multiple organizations
of the territory.

Monday, January 2, 2023 keys handed over and my gallery workshop set up.
Saturday 7 January from 9.30am to 12.30pm: 1st watercolour course of the year. A watercolour/month course is planned and it will be the 1st Saturday of each month until the summer. It is easy to remember.
next March: inauguration of the site
It is a space for intercultural and intergenerational meetings that will offer activities for all audiences.
In preparation, I will host a monthly and free artistic activity on the 1st Thursday of each month starting Thursday, February 2nd afternoon for the beneficiaries of Singa and Yoon among others. You are most welcome.
Are under reflection one Sunday/coffee per month (objectives : meet around a drink and share music, board games, dance…).
Concerts and several cultural events should also be held. We must give ourselves time to settle down, to get together to organize things, to make a beautiful inauguration of the place.
In the meantime, I wish you all a very happy holiday season.
Feed yourself with music, meetings and sharing and leave out the information!
Thus, we will all find a beautiful energy to live a new year!

Once is not customary but still!
Last summer, the Community of Lake Aiguebelette, and under the initiative of Marie-Lou Nivière, organized its first painting exhibition.
Thirty exhibitors gathered in 5 communes around the lake.
Thus, the numerous exhibitors were able to discover their beautiful artistic sensibility through various paintings and sculptures.
Unfortunately, we had a particularly stormy weekend and this did not allow the public to move in numbers.
Nevertheless, the experiment has been acclaimed and is continuing in another form.
Indeed, this year, 4 artists will meet in the same place to present works with the theme of Nature under its most beautiful assets.
Animals and landscapes more or less abstract will rub shoulders to make you dream. The particularly soothing setting of the lake will also be conducive to relaxation and wonder.
The vernissage is offered on Sunday, August 6 in the late afternoon, facing the lake and in the large room of the lake house.
An appointment that promises beautiful moments of exchanges with the public.
We had, as always, a perfect organization and a warm welcome from the members of this Innerwheel Orleans section.
The weather was very good, which made it possible to enjoy the opening outside and also to welcome the public of the plant garden. A large audience and connoisseurs gathered around the glass of friendship and during that time, an artist was performing on a large canvas outside.
During these 3 days, it was a real pleasure to find many familiar faces : it was a bit like coming home.
After 11 years in Orléans, it is quite normal to have forged many ties. Thank you all for your encouragement, your questions about my work, your sharing in your different workshops, our exchanges around your readings, your respective lives…
I had planned to bring a large canvas of 100×70 to better illustrate my recent work. However, the condition of my ankles did not allow me to come by car. So I had come long before the exhibition and I had dropped these small formats at a friend’s but I had to go back by train.
So I presented 8 30×30 formats around 2 themes:

cherry blossoms
It was the first time I had done all my public transit trips for an exhibition.
Finally, I admit that it was less tiring and quite comfortable. I rediscover the TER and it’s just a bit longer than a car ride but taking the time to enjoy the countryside is a real pleasure.
And then, my luggage was unloaded from 5 small formats, which made my return easy!
From January 6 to 23, 2022, you can come and discover many painters and sculptors.
Take advantage of this totally free and open edition every afternoon and from 10am to 5pm during the weekends.

This beautiful atmosphere which allows me to be in good condition to let go and let my imagination go! I, I open my workshop to you in order to come and feel the well-being that reigns there.
A beautiful view of the Vaise district and in the distance The Alps, the song of the birds and the light due west: everything is there to make me feel at ease.
Because in this place, the sensitivity of each other will be affected by the atmosphere that emerges there. Let yourself be touched by the representation of Nature that I offer.
You will see more or less figurative works, various formats and water-based techniques used in different ways to enrich my work.
You will also discover that the profession of professional painter is very varied and that it requires many skills …
Because we need conviviality, meetings, exchanges and because Life calls us quite simply!
EXHIBITION OF PAINTINGS AND CERAMICS AT THE JAPANESE CONSULATE
The appointment was made several months ago and here we are! From July 1st, several of my paintings will be part of the installations in the Japanese Consulate in Lyon: a good opportunity for me to present my work to the public of Lyon.
Black, grey and blue will be the dominant colours for this exhibition. As for the themes, sakuras and koi carp are expected to welcome the visitors!
These two works will be part of the exhibition and some other large or smaller ones will be proposed.

THE ALPES HOME TRADE FAIR REVIVAL
An exceptional year, an exceptional resort!
10 years after its creation, Alpes Home is going to settle for the first time in Isère. The resort of Les 2 Alpes, known for its glacier and its skiing in summer, will host the 11th edition of the show. The HOME OF RIDE will become the ALPES HOME OF RIDE for a weekend.
The programme will continue to include architecture, decoration, design and the art of mountain living, with a sprinkling of crafts, local artists and a large dose of the outdoors.
Owners of flats and chalets, hotels, restaurants and shops… architecture and decoration enthusiasts, construction, fitting out and renovation professionals, key players in the mountain will meet at the foot of this eternal glacier, for three days and two evenings of exhibitions, conferences and highlights that will mark the summer of 2021!
